May the New Year not deprive you of the most valuable: the joy of starting anew, of giving life another opportunity, of daring to dream, and of taking on new challenges with enthusiasm.

May the politicians, sociologists and false prophets not deceive you, because in reality you know there is still more road to be travelled.

May the economy not depress you. Because experience has taught you that “having more” does not mean “being more”; rather, the need for more nonessential things just enslaves you.

May poor health not stop you. No doctor or medicine can take away the smile on your face. This depends on you alone.

May you grow personally and learn to live with those around you, without falling into the trap of hedonism or thinking that you have more rights than others, just because you are you.

May your heart overflow, expand and carry HOPE to all those around you this new 2011.
